Classic Ads: Mario Bros. (Nintendo-Pak)
“How do you clean up after Donkey Kong? Turn Donkey Kong Jr. and Popeye back into money machines, too.”
Mario Bros. (マリオブラザーズ) is an arcade game published and developed by Nintendo in 1983. It was developed by Shigeru Miyamoto. In the game, Mario is portrayed as an Italian-American plumber who, along with his brother Luigi, has to defeat creatures that have been coming from the sewers below New York. The gameplay focuses on Mario’s extermination of pests in the sewers by flipping them on their backs and kicking them away. [Wiki]
Rad Super Mario Land graphics patch
No need to spend another night’s prayer on wishing for a Super Mario All-Stars-style graphical overhaul for Super Mario Land — Arne Niklas Jansson created one and released the patch! It reminds me a lot of Minitroid, which isn’t a bad thing at all.

Peach is diggin’ it.
Great, even Nintendo is exploiting crowdfunding now
I’m sick of hearing about big publishers taking advantage of services like Kickstarter, which is supposed to be for indies, or at least people who would have trouble raising money for their projects themselves otherwise.
And Wario is the last person I’d give money to. Hasn’t he already raked in millions from his WarioWare series? Plus he’s known for running scams, so I don’t trust this Crowdfarter site he just launched at all. His business plan sounds fishy, too — I’m not sure how he expects to make cash by asking people to tweet or like his site.
The rewards don’t even sound that great!:
At 50 KAJILLION coins, you will receive my voice as a ringtone for your too-cool-for-school phone. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?
If I help him make 50 Kajillion coins, the least I’d expect is a DRM-free copy of Game & Wario, a cameo or credit in the game, and a downloadable soundtrack. This is just straight-up greed and an abuse of his fans’ good will. It’s official, Wario now is worse than Penny Arcade.

I’ve been going through and taking screenshots of gameplay from Super Mario RPG all day. As old as it is, the amount of shenanigan material it offers is stupendous.
good stuff
